Karl August Otto Hoffmann

Karl August Otto Hoffmann was a German botanist and a high school teacher in Berlin. Author of Sertum plantarum madagascariensium, the genus Hoffmanniella in the family Asteraceae was named after him by Rudolf Schlechter.
