Seán Brady (cardinal)

Seán Brady KGCHS is an Irish cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was Primate of All Ireland and Archbishop of Armagh from 1996 until 2014, and was elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007. He faced repeated calls to resign over his alleged role in a cover-up of child abuse by priests in his jurisdiction.
