Roman Giertych, Polish lawyer and politician, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland

Roman Jacek Giertych is a Polish political figure, historian, advocate, and dissident against the PiS government. Giertych served in PiS government as Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and Minister of National Education from May 2006 to August 2007. He was a member of the Sejm from 2001 to 2007 and the chairman of the League of Polish Families party.
