Nectarios of Aegina, Greek metropolitan and saint (d. 1920)

Nectarios of Aegina, Metropolitan of Pentapolis and Wonderworker of Aegina, is one of the most renowned Greek saints, venerated both in the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Eastern Catholic Church. On 20 April 1961, Patriarch Athenagoras I of Constantinople canonized him as a saint. His feast day is celebrated every year on 9 November.
