Herman Smith-Johannsen

Herman "Jackrabbit" Smith-Johannsen, was a Norwegian skier, credited for introducing cross-country skiing to North America. In his youth he was rated one of the best all-round Norwegian skiers. He became a supercentenarian and died at 111.
