Christian Gabriel Bethancourt Ruiz is a Panamanian professional baseball catcher and first baseman for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Bethancourt was signed as a non-drafted international free agent in 2008. He made his major league debut in 2013 He has previously played in MLB for the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics, and Tampa Bay Rays and in the KBO League for the NC Dinos.
